frequently asked questions

We are looking forward to having you and your group on our fishing boat!  Fishing is our passion and we are always excited to bring your group along with us. This document is printable for you to provide for all who plan to attend this trip. We have provided the answers to our most frequently asked questions below.

  1. WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
We provide everything except food and drinks. If you wish to bring your own tackle that will be great but we are not responsible for damages. Only you will know what your group needs but some items you may want to bring are terry cloths, sun block, hats, and maybe a long sleeve shirt to help keep the sun off. We also suggest you bring your own cooler to keep the fish you catch on ice. We do, however, provide you with ziploc bags to keep the fish in.

  2. WHAT TYPE OF BEVERAGES AND FOOD CAN WE BRING?
All beverages are accepted aboard. You can bring your drinks in an ice chest already iced down. There are refrigerators available for storing food. We have a grill aboard both vessels for anyone who wishes to bring burgers, chicken, hot dogs or anything else that you wish to cook on the grill. We have everything for the grill except food. Sandwiches and chips are the norm and least expensive.

  3. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT AND DO YOU ACCOMMODATE HANDICAPPED/DISABLED?
All ages are welcomed and, yes, we can accommodate disabled /handicapped people.

  4. WHAT IF THE WEATHER OR SEA CONDITIONS BECOME SEVERE?
We will discuss the weather situation prior to departure or even some cases before you leave your place of residence, condo, or business. There are no charges for cancellations due to inclement weather.

  5. WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GET SICK?
We cannot determine who may or may not get sick during the fishing trip but there are numerous medications to take. Please consult your family doctor on what medication to take if this may be a concern of yours. Sea conditions can vary from day to day and even hour to hour. The excursion may be canceled during the trip and the captain may prorate the fishing trip depending on time spent while underway. You and your group are not held captive once the vessel is underway. If at any time your group is uncomfortable due to weather and sea conditions please let the crew know and the crew will return to port.

THERE WILL BE A DECK MATE PROVIDED FOR EACH TRIP WHO WILL ASSIST YOU WITH ALL OF YOUR FISHING TRIP NEEDS. THESE GUYS WORK FOR TIPS AND WHILE ANY TIP IS APPRECIATED, THE AVERAGE TIP IS 18%-20% OF FISHING TRIP TOTAL. FISH CLEANING WILL BE PROVIDED ON AT THE DOCK FOR $.30 PER POUND FOR ALL TRIPS 6 HOURS OR LONGER. FISH CLEANING IS COMPLIMENTARY ON THE TRIPS SHORTER THAN 6 HOURS.
